The return trip at 1pm was more insane!! Never before has it taken less than 1 hr, 25 min. Usually 1 hr 35+. Today it was 1 hr, 16 min! GWB we have ALWAYS had slowdowns on approach, thru the gantry or over. Today, NOTHING! 1st time in ~70 trips! @StreetsblogNYC @OpenPlans

@Boenau If I could just tell you the early battles @Naparstek and @StreetsblogNYC & @Streetfilms had with him and his surrogates (especially in Boston)….they HATED our widespread media encouraging protected #bikenyc lanes. They were quite angry and sometimes evil.

Gotta ❤️ cranks who complain building traffic calming chicanes on NYC streets would tie up traffic & cause chaos. Truth is every damn day our streets are filled with “naturally occurring” ones with all the rampant double-parking/street work! @OpenPlans @StreetsblogNYC @TransAlt

@NYPD114Pct Have you seen the number of cars parked all over sidewalks in the @NYPD114Pct? Please do something about that. It’s dangerous and makes it hard for seniors and those with disabilities to get around.

@enforcelawsNYC @russell_rivera Avg speed of all roads combined in Manhattan is roughly 4.5 - 5 mph. Crosstown is much worse nearing 3 mph. Keep living in your made up world.
