Here's the thing. From a physics standpoint, him being in the air saved him from a much worse injury. It looked awful, but thankfully no ground reactive forces pushed back from the hit. I love Michael Pittman and I'm hopeful they do right by him. Probably looked worse than it was

I'm firmly on board with this and just wonder if it's kind of because football is a business and RBs are some of the fans favorites. Yea, they like winning, but cheering for players puts people in the seats. Like, you pay up for CMC or Zeke because they're an identity.
