@JacketsInsider Think KJ and Fantilli watched/studied that top line of Monahan, Marchenko, and Voronkov very closely this year. Just like when Fantilli scored the PP goal in Monahans spot the game he got hurt as he told KJ He’d been watching Monny a lot and he knows where they want him on the PP

@RedsInFour I know what you’re saying it’s more myself being upset as a reds fan. You would just never see a payroll in Cincy that could hold Freeman, Betts, Ohtani, Snell, Glasnow etc. Just feels like the competitive balance is getting lost. Killing the sport for casual fans IMO.

@RedsInFour Having a hard salary cap would actually force teams to draft well and make smart contract decisions. If everyone can spend the same amount then each team has the same chances to retain their stars instead of losing them to bigger pay days. Lame that we know Elly is gone already.
