Should’ve demanded a bond. We used a fairly new contractor for a major home remodel. His company wasn’t bonded (not required in our state), so we paid for the bond. The cost was less than 1% of the whole job. Best insurance we ever bought.

Amazon did everything they could to make using

I didn't read all the comments, so I don't know if anyone told him yet, but Carvana does not calculate Gross Profit the way every other dealer does.
They take all Gross (retail AND wholesale) and then divide it by the number of retail units they sell. That's why they call it
Carvana hitting nearly $7,000 gross profit/unit in 2024 was not on my bingo card.
Pretty astounding.

Mostly just a bunch of people who have no idea:
1. The car dealers didn't get hacked, their third-party accounting software (for simplicity sake) got hacked.
2. This does not mean run out
BREAKING:
CDK Global says cyber attack ‘likely to last a couple of days’.
Over 50% of U.S. dealerships are currently shut down or attempting to engage in extremely creative workarounds.

Most dealerships are actually extremely honest, local folks, who just want to take care of their local community. The profit margins on sales for the average dealership are much less than the profit margins for the average jewelry store or

Basically, if the contractor f*cks up or goes belly up, you’re covered. In most states it’s a requirement for licensed contractors.
If your contractor says they’re bonded, you still want their bonding company to name you on the policy.

Folks, college is not for everyone. In fact, for most people they are better off going straight to work and skipping college. For me, I spent 4 years in the USMC before going to college. If you’re thinking of going to college, don’t expect taxpayers to pay for it.
