Would prefer to be going the game and would prefer to be writing, but I tell you what; the loss of both doesn't half help with chilling the fuck out. Keep wondering how some people got through the Hodgson days. They must've had to be tied down 24/7. Away from their keyboards.

Thought of pinning it, but that would be overestimating their importance. A few of our lot need reminding, though. It was a draw. We are top. To hell with the blues, to hell with the referee, to hell with TNT. To quote 'Deep Throat' (not the film!) "you're missing the overall".

I remember how mad we went when we got a 2-2 draw at home to United. In 1999. And what happened afterwards... Watching a shit football team rots the soul, even temporarily. Imagine watching one for 30 fucking years.
