@JaechulRoh The moment hype and inference cost hit the wall, we will start implementing AI properly.:)

@khant_dev Don't be scared. Soon the PM's will prompt design and code and some DevOps people with an "AI Technologist" badge will manage orchestration behind. Side note: The more you use AI, the more you feed the answers :)

@rakyll Failing with purpose also gives valuable lessons. Succeeding with luck is also a reality. Bad or mediocre products can be a success only due to business strategy and investment. So the question is what you want to build. Tech or business with tech.:)

@_imdawon What monster can you build for the cost of this thing? As a long time Apple user I miss the Mac Pro and the option to extend the capability. :)

@Vinz_DG As an exercise is cool. The same can be accomplished by using Illustrator, Affinity Designer or even Inkscape. You can build this in Blender end use Three.js to bring this to life. Figma is primary UX/UI design collaboration tool.:)

@jeremyphoward From an UX perspective, if something looks easy but is very hard, is it not some form of dark pattern? Lure the user with hype, give him back false confidence of knowledge and continue the cycle? Or explain the text calculator, hallucination, temperature, etc. before the hype?:)

@thomasoftyre @ThePrimeagen Even this is right (end it is not) do you want software engineer who creates the critical infrastructure to be like most people? Your mechanic to be like most people? Your doctor? To hide the error behind hallucination term? Think again:)

@uavster I am too "old" for trust. Using Apple computers and devices, more than 20 years. Install on your Mac, Little Snitch, and see what's going on. On Winbox try Simplewall. Imagine iPhones, iPads where you cannot install those types of apps. Now move on, iRobot Os. :)

@wesbos Just remembered a time when we have done those things in Fireworks by hand. Long before Apple. :)

@boristane This is a fundamental shit. No more devs. Prompters will "Vibe code". You don't need to know how things work. Design, algorithms, refactoring, clean code, all in the past. Agents everywhere. In your lamp. In your toilet. In your food? You just ask them to work and they do. :)

@sarahesmaili0 As a tool, not at all. The question is how long programming CRUD apps will be valuable? Having math knowledge is universal. Web tech comes and goes. Fundamentals will stay.:)

@NickGatzoulis Never used anything other than FOSS LLMs. Every service can be or will be breached. Top companies have this problem how to expect a startup to be perfect? Even this post is free petrol for Grok. @lmstudio and @ollama for the win! In VM:)

@helloiamleonie Workflows are systems where LLMs and tools are orchestrated through predefined code paths.Agents, on the other hand, are systems where LLMs dynamically direct their own processes and tool usage, maintaining control over how they accomplish tasks.
