I found an old computer someone trashed!
I fixed it up and found it running Windows 95 plus!
Its also making VERY retro sounds right now. Sounds I have not heard in about 20 years like the old ways hard drives use to sound when they are being red.

I see a lot of people talking about how the Core Tomb Raider games have "bad controls" and its frustrating cus its obvious these people booted it, saw the tank controls and went "ew, bad controls" and stopped playing.
The game is built around them and it actually works!

I am about an hour in and ya I can see why people don't like this game very much.
Also I love the "mom said its my turn to play the xbox" energy your main character gives out when he stands and walks lmao

I promise after a few levels you will understand why they work. If Lara moved really fast and had snappy movement it would break the game.
Its meant to be an atmospheric slow adventure and that's where it shines.
For me, an improvement would be using the TR4 push/pulling.

To all my friends and fans of Tomb Raider I HIGHLY suggest you buy the original games on whatever storefront you prefer before the remaster comes out.
CALL IT A HUNCH but I feel like scummy CEO's will want the original games gone when this one hits.

A while ago I played a game called N2O on PS1 and absolutely loved it.
If you want a fun action game where you ride through psychedelic tunnels while blasting enemy's away to a killer soundtrack then you NEED to get this game!
It's a must play :)

Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land done and I REALLY enjoyed this game despite the few flaws it does have.
A high recommendation to Wizardry fans and dungeon crawler fans in general.

I love the PS Vita!
It's an absolute shame it was the butt of jokes back in the day from lots of people.
I played Tokyo Xanadu a while back and loved it till my memory card corrupted and I lost 20+ hours :(

Just beat Rouge Galaxy and its easily one of my favorite RPGs ever made on the PS2 up there with the .hack games.
I loved my time with this. Its so near perfect that even the few issues it does have doesn't hold it back. I will be 100%ing this!
An easy recommendation from me!💕

Panzer Dragoon Saga beat. Holy hell was this fun. I missed more then I thought I did. I can see why a lot of people love this game, fairly deep rpg system and a nice story to boot. Im gonna look up secrets and get hyped for PD Orta now!

These are all the N-Gage games I own as of right now. There are ones I want to get like Shadowkey and other RPGs but I am happy with these!
Tomb Raider, Ashen and Pocket Kingdom stand out as my faves of the bunch.

Mordor: The Depths of Dejenol is a multi-screen RPG game that has you brave the depths of a dungeon said to be impossible.

Virtual Hydlide on Saturn done!
Framerate issues are huge with this game but its also weird how they gut the RPG gameplay, making combat near pointless.
I also never found the store but I was assured it was real. Can you beat my score on hard?!

It's free on GoG and SUPER fun! It's a bit of a bullet hell with a ton of secrets packed in
You also have to find data cubes that random enemy drop as well as upgrade yourself to get stronger

Just got the PocketStation in the mail!
This is a PS1 memory card that works like the VMU from the Dreamcast! If a game has support for this you can download mini-games and applications.
I for one will be looking for mini-games that impact the main game like Sonic Adventure 2!

Found the Descent Official Strategy Guide book yesterday at a thrift store!
I am SO happy I found this! I absolutely love Descent and I cant recommend this game enough to people who like ship games mixed with some arcadey gunplay.
With this book I WILL DOMINATE THE WORLD!

Just found this for fairly cheep! Lost Odyssey on the 360.
Its a 4 disk RPG made by western devs that seems to be trying to copy the style of JRPG's of the time.
Septerra Core is also a western game made to be like a JRPG and that game is amazing so lets hope this one is too!

Yesterday I found my cats staring at something in the grass. I went to look and saw they found a baby bunny!
I took the bun away and have been taking care of her with my grandma. She didn't eat at first but today she ate a ton of lettuce and is doing ok❤️

Crisis City is a PS2 game where you take control of a helicopter trying to save the civilians of this massive city.
Use your water cannon, water missiles and pivot just right so you rappel down to save people!
The game has fun levels and cool copters to unlock!

Recently a Castlevania Arcade game from the early 00's was preserved!
It works without sound effects right now on modern OS's but on a Windows XP Machine with a HD 2600 XT GPU it seems to have no issues.
Guess who's XP machine doesn't have a HD 2600 XT? Mine! Gotta find one!

One of my fave Interplay published games of the 90s!
This is a REALLY good fan project!
Descent 1 and 2 are classics, easily, and I would highly recommend playing these games with a nice gamepad!

Here's a childhood DOS game I really like, Jill of the Jungle! I use to play part 1 like crazy.
Never had a chance to play part 2 and 3 until much later sadly.
Highly recommend it!

Rogue Galaxy is 100% done and you better believe I'm tagging my friends after all this lmao.
It's a wonderful RPG game that I highly recommend for anyone looking for a PS2 RPG but if you want to 100% it then you are going to put an extra 50+ hours into it easily!

Evolution 1 and 2 are dungeon crawlers with a VERY fun RPG system that has customizability for the characters you play as!
Games like this are why I love the Dreamcast. This game has a ton of personality and charm!

Always remember to never be afraid to emulate games you litteraly can't buy anymore or that are so damn expensive to buy that you have to save months of paychecks to buy.
It hurts litteraly no one to do this and even my old 2012 rig can emulate amazingly.

I can't stress this tweet enough. Emulation is alive and you should never feel bad playing a game that you cant buy anymore or has a much worse version of it available.
Never feel bad doing this. the poor poor multi million dollar companys will be ok if you play a game not sold.
I get a lot of comments saying "I miss this game" or "I wish I could play this" and I just want to remind everyone that if you have a fat PS2, an Xbox Series S or X, a nice Android device, a Steam Deck, or a computer made in the last half decade, you don't have to miss it anymore

My grandfather on my dads side has passed away today.
Growing up he loved to watch me play Sonic 2 and really enjoyed the boss fights.
Even as an adult he would ask to watch me play the game to see his fave parts.
Cherish small and silly memory's like that with close family.

Running Wild is advertised as made the producers of Crash so thats really interesting.

Looks like an overhead action adventure game! Love the fact that there are newer games being made for retro systems. 9x Win and Dreamcast especially!
You can also buy a digital version of this and play on an emulator if you so choose ^^

I got some unfinished business with this game! As a kid I made it to the final boss but could not beat him, no matter how many times I tried.
I was under powered for the fight. I accidentally went into a Juno only area with the dog and got a ton of power ups meant for him.
