Luckily, yesterday the engines were out opposite the tower on lift off. What could have happened, if they went out on the other side? In my sim it lifts off the OLM still fairly fast with 9 engines out, but at full throttle. Yesterday it might have been far from full throttle?

This shows fluid levels in GSE tanks after filling the #Starship full stack with subcooled propellants. About a third of the nitrogen is used for cooling alone (not considering other uses like purging here) according to my simulation. Might not be 100% accurate though 😅

Patch is live btw! Mostly fixes (changelog is inside now). But I quickly added the Mega Bay as well and moved the crane over. The crane is a little tricky to use and the ring is not attachable yet. Still fun though :D Next bigger update might take a little longer now.

More views of the new ship model that's in the latest StarbaseSim update. I noticed that with the correct position of the ship mounting pins, it was hanging not very horizontally on the chop sticks anymore. So I had to add an offset to the center of mass of about 30 cm (1 foot)

If you have been playing only on Low quality, you might have been wondering, why there is no water. That's because so far it was deactivated completely by default. In the new update there will now be a simple plane at least and you can always toggle the HD water from the menu.

Some smart folks over in the @RGVaerialphotos discord had an idea. I checked it out on my recreation which is I'd say ~95% accurate, enough to reliably determine the HSR situation. I am not saying with certainty that the ring did detach, but this is the first public evidence.
