@PhilipAhern We use anti-his and they work really well in flow. I'm guessing it depends on the antibody clone based on others who've replied (and not in the lab right now to check which we use!), but it definitely can work well.

RIVR's a great way to meet other virology PIs in the UK, go along if you're a new (ish?) group leader.
The Recently-Independent Virologists Retreat (RIVR) 2024 will be on Jan 9-10th 2024 (date changed!) in Liverpool. Booking will open in the next week or two. If you are a new group leader in virology in the UK and not yet on the RIVR mailing list please get in touch to be added!

@NJTemperton @uk_icn We have some guys here in Cardiff that train bees to detect all kinds of things. They even have little bee-detector devices. I was convinced it was windup when I first heard about it, and honestly, I'm still not sure it isn't some elaborate global prank ;-)
