P6 had an amazing week with @IntoUniversity at the Maryhill Hub where the focus was Engineering. The children demonstrated some amazing teamwork and research skills and finished off the week with a graduation ceremony @UofGlasgow @stmarysmaryhill @STEMglasgow

We had a fantastic day with @EcoDrama1 The children got to watch a performance of The Forgotten Orchard and then had the opportunity to taste some delicious apples. @stmarysmaryhill @G20YouthProject

P6/5 made the most of the better weather today and got outside to plant our @EdinaTrust spring bulbs. Our rain gauge and thermometer are in place and we are all set to measure their progress over the coming months. @stmarysmaryhill @KSBScotland

P5 had a great afternoon at Cadder Community Centre. We were thinking about our feelings, what makes us happy and finished off with a sing along. Thank you to all of the volunteers from Healing for the Heart for organising and providing us all with a gift bag. @stmarysmaryhill

P4 were in the STEM Room this week. They were finding out about pandas for their Endangered Species topic and finished off by making their own mini pandas out of cardboard rolls. @stmarysmaryhill @STEMglasgow

We were very lucky to have a local company donate some bags of scrap fabric to us. Even better for P3 who are doing a topic on Reduce, Recycle, Reuse. We saved the scraps from going into landfill and used them to make collages @stmarysmaryhill @Mr__Kelly

P4 are have been finding out about endangered animals. Today we were looking at the Hawksbill Turtle and why there are so few of them left 😢@stmarysmaryhill @STEMglasgow

P4/3 visited the STEM Room today. We started off with finding out about how our ears work and then had some fun with the resources.@stmarysmaryhill @STEMglasgow

P5 were using the digital scales to measure out the ingredients for fairy cakes. Great teamwork and food safety awareness from everyone 😃. We ate them during golden time! Yum! @stmarysmaryhill

P4, P3 and P3/2 were investigating sound in the STEM Room today. We found out about how sound travels by waves and to finish off we made our own shakers🪇 @stmarysmaryhill @STEMglasgow
