Sadly, young people don't have the luxury of pausing their lives while we get our act together The 2019 agreement between Scot Gov & local authorities which stated young people leaving care should have priority for housing support is on hold. This is shocking #ChildrenMatter
Young people leaving care are still being left homeless and at risk despite a Scottish Government “promise” to ensure they are given a safe and loving home for as long as needed, The Ferret has heard.

Last week I met Father Greg Boyle of Homeboy Industries during a visit @G20YouthProject to chat about breaking the cycles of poverty. It was inspiring. I am in Government to change lives, and that’s why we are working to build a nation free from child poverty.
