We are on our way to
@PGLTravel
Marchants Hill! We’ve had a great morning rehearsing for The Greatest Showman and now we’re all very excited and ready for the big adventure to begin! 🙌
It’s quiz night for this evening’s entertainment, featuring games such as guess the food and roll the ball into the bucket. Some very interesting team names 🤔
Congratulations to Europe team (led by a fantastic group of Year 6s) for their first Sports Day win in 12 years! Congratulations also to all continent teams for their excellent sportsmanship, encouragement and friendship - lots to be proud of in our St Anselm’s family! 🔵🟢🟡🔴⚫️
We had a great time this evening at the disco! Lots of dancing, singing and games. Now we’re getting showered and settled for a (hopefully) peaceful night’s sleep 😴
We think yesterday’s activities must’ve tired everyone out because miraculously, everyone was asleep by 10.15pm and had to be woken up at 7am! We’ve had breakfast and are ready for this morning’s fun in the sun☀️
A fantastic training day today about embedding and utilising technology more effectively in the classroom. Expect to see some exciting changes happening in school soon as a result! Thank you

Please enjoy this little glimpse of joy from our Year 6’s seeing our staging and set design come together for the first time! We are so looking forward to performing our adaptation of Disney’s Encanto tomorrow and Thursday evening. Tickets are still available! 🇨🇴🎉🎊🎈
It’s good to be home 🥰 thank you to parents for your support, staff for organising the trip, but most of all to our children for making us proud every day to be part of the St Anselm’s family. Have a great weekend everyone!

Dinner was another success tonight. We are also really enjoying the benefits of being a small group as we usually get seated outside on the terrace to eat! ☀️
We’ve moved out of our accommodation, had breakfast and are on our way to our morning activities. We also have a birthday boy today! Happy birthday Niall! 🎂 🎈
Just to let all parents know that we’re all well! The children have been asleep since 9.45. Not all of today’s photos have been posted yet as signal has been tricky but we’re hoping to finish posting in the morning. Night all 💤
Followed by our evening activity: we had to complete various challenges, including building the tallest shoe tower, to earn coins to buy materials to protect a water balloon.
As a special treat for amazing behaviour all week, our school were allowed to eat our last dinner outside in the sunshine. So proud of all our children 🥰
We were up bright and early this morning (some a lot earlier than others 🥴). We’ve had breakfast, played some games and now we’re just getting ready for our first two activities: Jacob’s ladder and sensory trail🌳🌲 more updates to come when we next get WiFi 😊
This is just a very small glimpse of the snacks the children have packed for their trip (and interestingly the first things to be unpacked yesterday!) 🍭 🍫 🍬
We did amazingly well on the climbing wall this morning. Most of us got to the top but ALL of us challenged ourselves as much as we could

The boys finished the evening by serenading Mr White with their rendition of ‘Shape of You’, featuring lyrics such as ‘I’m in love with your leaf-blowing skills’ 😂
Thank you to all family members who wrote letters for our children. They were all really surprised and loved taking the time to read them and think about home. It was a lovely pick-me-up and they felt just like they were on I’m a Celebrity!
And so we come to the end of another academic year and it’s time to say goodbye to a fabulous group of Year 6s. Here is the legacy they wanted to leave us with…
And that’s a wrap! Thank you to everyone who made our production possible. It’s been an absolute ball and we are so proud of our Year 6s! Now it’s time to see their last few days out in style…

And the sun sets for a final time over Whitmoor Vale. The children have been asleep for 2 hours already, are mostly tidied and packed ready for their last two activities and then come home for cuddles and storytelling of their amazing week. Goodnight all 😴 🛌 💤
@PGLTravel
A fantastic day was had by all yesterday. The children showed great listening, manners and team work. Our activities kicked off with a trip up Jacob’s Ladder…🪜 🌳
We’re all packed up and on our way home! We’ve had the best week and don’t want to leave but we can’t wait to see our families. Current ETA of just before 4pm. See you soon!
Good morning, everyone. Fuelling up for the day and we’re all feeling significantly more tired than yesterday. Most of us had to be dragged out of bed!
We are all so proud of Year 6 and how well they represented our school during their PGL trip this week. And to top it off, their

interviews have gone live! Catch them on Sky News Saturday and Sunday at 10.30, 14.30 & 16.30 or right here
And our last PGL night draws to a close. All are asleep and ready for a final morning of activities before our return journey home. See you all tomorrow! 😊
Welcome back to St Anselm’s! We’ve really missed the children over the summer break and are looking forward to everything the new school year has in store.
