Amazing how controlling the game also turns luck in your favour. Maybe just coincidence but feels like the more we keep the ball/dominate, the more balls drop in our favour and/or deflections go our way.

@JDHibs It's been a real eye opener the past few years about how much of a "clique" Scottish football is. Journalists/pundits will just outright lie and mislead people to help their friends out regardless of who they're hurting in the process.

@JDHibs It's why the saints support has been so vociferous against the BBC "journalists" who to a man put this whole season on Valakari and never once mention the part Levein played in it.

@JDHibs Aye. We announced his signing on 30th May, then 3 weeks later Levein is on the BBC saying he's picked up an injury but is "3-4 weeks" into the recovery period after an operation. So yeah, he knew about it when offering him the deal.

@SaintRick78 Yeah its maybe the big weakness you look at improving quickly if you can. A lot of his "lost" duels seems to be when the balls played forward from the opponents defence, hes left too much of a gap to their striker, and he doesn't have the leap/judgement to make up ground.

@StuartMcK17 Very much so, it seems. Feels better than he doesn't seem to be a "lucky dip off a list" type signing but more targeted, based on how well his style seems to fit with what Valakari wants.

@ElliotThomson2 Yeah we badly needed the option of pace/width off the bench. Think him and Steven might give us a whole new angle at changing games compared to before January.

@pieandbov @edhodgesport If you admit the KMI didn't bother giving a verdict on it, then why use the KMI decisions as proof there was nothing wrong with the incident? A lot of people seem to forget that's just a panel of folk giving their own opinions. Collum has said they've been wrong a few times.
