@Nodragem @MatiasHannecke It could be combined with lighting and shading in a 3D cel-shaded effect, or a hybrid PBR and NPR style like I did here:

@bimyongkkamagwi @MatiasHannecke From now on, I want to focus on low-poly characters, so I’ll see how it goes 👀

@Sharufiko When I was a kid playing R&C, I’d sometimes just stare into the distance in maps like Metropolis (where ships were flyingaround) I’d imagine the lives of all the citizens, how they got their ships, how they drove them, and just lived their daily lives with ships. That was magical

@ZakLloyd3D 3ds Max is more powerful, but Blender has a bigger community, more tutorials, and keeps getting better add-ons. I spent two months of tutorials just to feel competent. Pausing projects to learn a new tool is frustrating, but Blender is worth it and it feels fresh and modern

@bookmarkerbot1 They added that possibility a couple of years ago if I remember correctly, but anyway, I only use Blender now

@HugintheCrow I prefer having the reference overlaid at low opacity using Kuadro; I find it more practical and visually intuitive. Plus, it’s more useful for references that aren’t just top, front, or side views

@Sharkcrome It will depend on the game engine you are using and how you configure the compression, but I usually avoid using SVG because engines typically have to convert SVG to raster due to it being a vector format
