A bit of a story, but. I had an English professor in college that said something very similar. Referring to me and other “Mormons”, she said “you guys act happy all the time, it feels not genuine. You’re almost fake nice, I don’t think that you have true happiness.”. Was wild to.
This is gonna come off as some sore loser shit but I don’t care. I have to say it. BYU fans are way too over the top nice. It’s like fake nice. And it irks me.

I know people smirk about the gospel aspect to BYU and sometimes we bring it up in the wrong ways, but the way that Mark Pope described that was genuinely beautiful. Bunch of non LDS guys on the team and he is helping the Gospel touch their lives.💙 That’s what BYU is about.

It’s a small thing, but the energy that Marcus Adams has had on the bench this season for every single play his teammates make is so impressive to me. He’s almost always standing. Cannot wait to see him play for us. The talent is unreal, but the heart is genuinely visible!.
