Sarel has run his race imo even if he scores a ton of runs domestically it won't make up for the technical flaws which get exposed at the highest level. His ceiling for improvement is limited so we rather work with a Tony De Zorzi or Jordan Hermann going forward.

Complete BS, literally thousands were dying before we even had a vax in 2020. Since then we have seen that vaxxed populations like Australia and South Korea have very few deaths and serious illness compared to vaccine holdouts like the USA.

There has been a tendency to protect some of the older players by not selecting younger players who could potentially upstage them. We saw this with Duane and Roos/Elrigh as well as Pollard/Elton and Libbock, Wille and Fassi etc. The players look tired you can't flog a dead horse
