Today I met with the Chiefs of Busoga Kingdom led by the Chief of Bugweri, Zirabamuzale Nkutu Menha.
I encouraged the Chiefs to embrace goat rearing among other development initiatives.

I wish to remind all Ugandans that HIV/AIDS has been with us for over 40 years!!! It will continue if we let our guard down. I urge Community leaders countrywide to ensure that the PROTECTION messaging, continues to be drummed loud and clear.
The people we expect to contract the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) are the mature people who're moving to places. This is why I re-echo my appeal to the public to go for health check up.

Among other issues, His Eminence expressed the desire to expand and upgrade the Holy Cross Orthodox hospital to serve Namungoona and surrounding areas. I promised to liaise with the Ministry of Health to ensure necessary action is taken.
