I have just been informed that my favourite customer at the pub- the customer who always asked how my Trekkie friends were and how the conventions went- has unexpectedly passed away. He was the sweetest. Most kind. And always made sure I was alright. He was a friend

I'm absolutely struggling to keep myself sober at the moment and I'm a little bit resigned to the fact that I'm going to drink soon. I'm trying so hard.
I feel like I'm about to fail and as much as Star Trek has helped, I'm not sure it's enough right now.
