Say it loudly for those at the back. Also, beware of the bandwagon jumpers and overnight ‘experts’ #edtech

A great message for those of us navigating the challenges of peer-reviewed publications: rejections are just stepping stones ✔️. Keep refining & resubmitting your work. Also, what an insightful paper on factors that sustain teachers' motivation all the way to retirement 👇🏻
🫵 If you feel something is really important, don't give up! This article was 1. Desk rejected by Journal A 2. Rejected after peer review in Journal B 3. I refused to give up and sent it to the Modern Language Journal: Accepted with minor revisions!

@ColminIndonesia I believe the framing of the question might be attributing too much power to the tool itself. AI, like any tool, doesn't inherently do anything - it all depends on how it's used.

@angelos_bollas @AcademicChatter No, because it’s blind peer review. But I’ll start including the journals for which I have reviewed.

@seburnt Good point! I don’t like holding the mic 🎤 because I move quite a bit but if I have to, I will. I do love clip on mics though, they are superb!

Is it just me or does anyone else get "reminder" emails to review papers for journals but not the original invite? 🤔 Happened twice in the last month! When I log in the journal website it shows the request was sent a month ago but I never received it #AcademicTwitter

@seburnt Of course it depends on the kind of writing. Blogging is more casual and less polished so few revisions. I guess you refer to publications, no?
