After 2+ years of creative block, I finally started writing and submitting stories again. This morning, the editor of a pro antho I subbed a new short story to emailed me back. He wants to buy it! I can’t begin to explain how wonderful this feels. Suck on that writer’s block!

novel VIOLIN and it gets better with each read. One of the most gorgeously written books I’ve ever laid eyes on. Perfect blend of experimental prose and superior story telling. She captivates me, has my undivided attention. Not many can.

A very close friend intro'd me to a literary agent last night, and we clicked instantly. He has worked on Britney Spears' book for instance, and many other fiction titles that have sold well. He was very interested in my writing style and the way I create my stories 🤞

I realized, after this weekend full of shredded bodies, that I’ve traded abs for a much thicker body, and I’m fine with it. Abs don’t impress me much, honestly. I used to feel being ripped was the way, but with age a healthy thickness is really where it’s at.

My new apartment is so big and delicious. Glad I broke my wallet to get here. Worth every penny. Balcony and huge kitchen, huge bedroom and somehow rent stabilized (for non NYC folk, this means the landlord can’t jack my rent up to whatever number they feel upon renewal)
