We can agree to cancel student debt without accepting this ridiculous framing that Trudeau somehow pockets interest payments.
Jagmeet is smart enough to know these interest payments go to the federal gov’t not the PM’s personal bank account, but he’s betting you won’t check.
Since coming to power, Trudeau has profited off of student debt, to the tune of nearly $4 billion in interest payments.
I would immediately remove interest from the federal student loans.
