We now call upon the ecosystem to participate in this historic moment:
Any business, product, or platform that wants to engage the DevList
Please fill out the form below 👇
Welcome to the Solana DevList:

@solana
ecosystem.
Membership on the DevList is a free to claim, soul bound token which is a public good.
Apply here:
How does it work 🧵 👇
Over 250 devs have now signed up for the Solana DevList in just this past weekend alone 💪
Apply to join a growing list of builders in the space, so we can help support ways to bring value back to you 👇
🚨 Alpha alert:

No one has been rejected yet from the DevList!
The fastest way to confirmation is a tweet tagging us, and asking for people to vouch for you
Bonus points if its from other respectable Devs!
@PratikSaria
@SolfateHQ
I see Solana devs have hundreds of buffer accounts on devnet due to failed deployments and wrong re-deployments.
To be honest, the best faucet for Solana developers is `solana program close --buffers`, not `solana airdrop 1` 😂
all

devlist members will get a badge on

no longer do you rely on one company or billionaire to verify your status.
and we already offer one click airdrops and missions.
imagine what you can do with this.
Feedback heard, adjustments made 🫡 devs are the best 💜
We just updated our GitHub auth flow in 2 ways:
- updated to use an "OAuth App" (from a "GitHub App") via GitHub
- we no longer ask for any access to private repos
Details explaining it all below 👇
The first batch of
@solana
DevList approvals are being rolled out right now!
If you have already applied, you can sign in and check your approval status.
Details about how automated approvals work👇🧵
The
@_cubik
open source repo has been added to our automatic approval script.
PRs merged into Cubik will boost your overall "auto approval score", making it easier and faster to get auto approved.
Any community member that has chewed enough glass to be on the
@solana
DevList by
@SolfateHQ
, is automatically eligible for a paid internship at Christex!

👋 PSA: We are rolling through accepting applicants as we speak!
Our GitHub script is chugging along checking public code contributions to 35 different repos maintained by different orgs
All accepted applicants will be able to start claiming the DevList membership token: Soon,
42 new applications were sent to DevList since the
@SuperteamDAO
call this morning, bringing the total to 399.
The first round will start being approved within the next 7 days. So make sure you get yours in asap!
As a reminder: if you have not claimed your DevList token, you are not "officially on the DevList"
There are still many people who have not claimed their token

The DevList is a free and public good with support from
@RadiantsDAO
The goal is simple: have a publicly accessible list of wallet addresses for
@solana
developers.
Anyone can do what they please with this list
DevList is one of the public goods initiatives we've been working on at
@RadiantsDAO
: cultivate a vetted list of active developers to find ways to reward them.

We can reveal 2 things about the NFT for DevList:
1. It will be a first ever for the chain on the tech side
2. The art for the NFT itself was done by

@SolfateHQ
Dragon is one of the most dedicated, kind, genuine, and cracked builders I’ve ever had the pleasure working with. It would be an absolute travesty not to have him on any list of top devs on Solana.
Truly cannot endorse him enough
PSA: there are reports of issues connecting twitter accounts to apply to the DevList
We have so much demand right now, we are being rate limited 💪
If you have issues, try a few times or come back later. There is still time to apply
No FOMO needed. Stay safe :)

With the updated

Thanks to everyone for making this possible.
It all started 2 months ago with a simple idea:
"lets find ways to provide value to the hardworking devs of this ecosystem"
And now we're well on our way to doing that.

We are currently at 11 times marking as spam. Be better.
@SuperteamDAO
has developed the most amazing Solana projects.
The

community is a community of talented individuals contributing to Solana and the Web3 space.
In this thread, we'll dive into 5 Superteam's amazing projects built on Solana.

The devs at
@StockpileLabs
has officially added the DevList token to their badge system.
Making this the very first integration with the DevList we have seen. Pure, permissionless goodness💜
We're rolling out developer badges on Stockpile!
From now on, verified developers from
@the76devs
and
@SolfateHQ
will receive badges, and automatic verification for their contributions to the ecosystem.
Here's a quick overview 👇🧵
If not enough GitHub activity was detected on these PUBLIC repos, you were not AUTO approved.
We want to approve more dedicated
@solana
developers.
We ask you share links to PUBLIC repos you have meaningfully contributed to. We will manually check these and approve accordingly.

We cannot stress this enough, if you ever feel uncomfortable or don't trust something asking you to connect a wallet or GitHub account, then don't do it!

We have updated the details on the pending DevList applications to clarify a few things:
- we are still manually reviewing and approving applicants
- we use an automated script to check many repos in an attempt to auto approve people that pass the Sybil resistance check
- this
Firstly, you can apply to join the Solana DevList here.
No charge to apply or claim the non-transferable membership token (other than standard Solana transaction and storage cost when you mint of course)
This is a free, public good.
You can officially view your DevList membership tokens in the
@solanafm
explorer!
Note: If you attached your GitHub and/or Twitter handle to your token, you will currently not see this on their explorer though.
The future of tokenization & verification is now.

Let’s go through the latest upgrades: 🧵

I think I'd make a good addition to your devlist!

Im also helping build up the Sol genart scene.

You can't be underpriced if there is no charge. 🤔 🧠 💜
Friendly reminder, the
@Solana
DevList is a free and public good. We will never charge you a fee. You will only pay the standard Solana blockchain transaction/rent fees. No more. Potentially less.
If there’s one thing for 2024 I’m most pumped about, it is this:
Solana is a proof of stake blockchain with a proof of work ecosystem — where the best contributors are rewarded for their work. From airdrops to discounted products to exclusive investment opportunities.
The best
Let us be clear on 3 things:
- the Solana DevList is primarily focused on public code contributors to the
@solana
ecosystem
- no one has been rejected, we just need more proof of dev work
- we can only verify so much dev work if it is PUBLIC

Now: we do not request any access to private repos.
None. At. All. 💜
Expect this to slow down our approval of many applicants (including potentially limiting our ability to verify and approve some devs), but for the benefit of better privacy and less access on our part
We have largely only gone though the "auto approval" process.
We are still in the process of reviewing other DevList applicants. This takes time to manually review GitHub code contributions
@FreeSolGamesDev
@SolfateHQ
@teh_pwnor
Open source contributors just got autoapproved.
Everyone else we have to do a bit more in depth of a process to verify
But no one was rejected as of yet
Let's be clear:
If you are not already approved, you are not rejected.
You have simply not been AUTO approved based on the PUBLIC repos we have checked (details below)
We need you to share proof of your contributions with us!
PSA: minting the DevList token is only a single transaction and only uses the new token extensions program.
Here is an example DevList mint transaction:
Our GitHub script checked 35 well known and PUBLIC repos (maintained by different organizations).
If a GitHub account has at least 5 PRs merged, commits, or notable activity (cumulative between all these 35 repos) a person gets auto approved for the DevList
We rely on a simple consensus idea:
If your GitHub account has gotten PRs approved and merged into popular, well respected repos (managed by different groups with different merge criteria), the GitHub account is very likely to be owned by a real contributor.
If you have made meaningful code contributions to the ecosystem, you should be auto approved to join the list (by claiming the free membership token)
If not auto approved, each application will be manually reviewed by a small group of fellow Solana community members
