My son goes to a dance school and his all male class is as camp as parade. None of them seeming to have a problem expressing their femininity at all. But in a very male way. They aren't trying to be women, they are trying to be beautiful and I guess I perceive that as feminine.

I was 14 when my family moved from the UK to Ireland.
Despite neither of my parents being English, somehow I was responsible for the black n tans.
The Yorkshire twang was enough to draw them on me. Even had a priest regularly making fun of me in Irish to the rest of the class.

My Wife and I felt very alone when refusing to allow our son to be transitioned. That was 5 years ago, luckily we got through it all and he is a bright beautiful 15 Yr old, full of confidence and so happy.

Around 10 the therapists wanted to transition him. I refused.
He is 15 now, happy, prob gay. Loves growing into his male form.
They were wrong.

What it means is that for his particular instance and circumstance, we aren't going to pretend they are actually female. However they handle their medical diagnosis of gender dysphoria is noone else's business

I've spent time in Irish Prison. It's a punishment facility where we are treated like dogs, and I came out hating society.
A good friend has been in German prison, they get counselling and therapy and actual help to reintegrate, skills and education, and he came out a new man..

i point blank refused to put him on blockers. they couldnt do it without a parent. so we just took all the pressure but refused to buckle. we gave everyone a chance and read every report, every study. spoke with adult trans people. but the risks of the drugs vs risk of waiting...

When I was in the gender clinic talking about my son, he was recommended blockers, the gender therapist was a TiM, and he really struggled to stick to speaking about my son and not himself, and hear what I was saying about my son and not think I was talking about him.
