Shrink here…conservative one. A study back in 2012 showed that 94% of therapists identified as liberal…only 6% of us viewed ourselves as conservative. If you want to dive deeper on what that means, I’d be happy to.

I’m a “women of color” and have heard “she doesn’t know what she’s talking about.” So I went and checked facts, got smarter and learned from my mistakes. Now, I have so many that I guide and counsel...all because I chose not to be a victim or to see myself as a “woman of color.”
Women of color have heard this before. Instead of "we disagree," it's "she doesn't know what she's talking about." They have to make us feel small.
