They turned the trio into second-rate South Park/2010s Simpsons mouth-pieces that vomit out the opinions of the writers. The reason why Pinky & the Brain was the only consistently funny part of the reboot was partly because they treated them as CHARACTERS first.
When the Animaniacs reboot came out I watched the first season & loved it. Then I went back and rewatched some of the old show. What stood out to me was that the Warners are kids in the original, while in the new version they're like elder millennials testing tweets out loud

so, adam & eve were butt ass naked in the book of genesis, but disney's the little mermaid is where y'all draw the line??? also, “modesty” in the bible had nothing to do showing less skin, americans christians made that part up.
I wouldn’t even let my children watch The Little Mermaid. A mermaid in a bra. Hard pass.

My GOD. Influencer Smurf never existed, it was completely manufactured for the trailer for a quick joke, that’s literally all it was It was very obviously just Vanity Smurf without the flower, he has the same eyelids in every Smurf media, & same VA Stop smurfing misinsmurfation
Influencer Smurf has been removed from ‘Smurfs’ completely. The smurf was replaced with Vanity Smurf which difference is the flower on the hat.
