Exciting to have my work discussed in any classroom, but especially one with @ian_cushing at the front š
today i gave a lecture on deficit thinking in schools and the persistent ideology that working-class children use language which is simple, restricted, and limited. then we looked at @SnellJulia's amazing and important work which shows how those labels are entirely false. ā
