Real talk on this topic i think boiling tokusatsu down to just "toy commercial" shows is just disrespectful, to try to fend it off of criticism on the lack of artistic vision it has during modern times, Tokusatsu is and forever will be an art form and should be treated as such.
Recently on tokutwt it's been real easy noticing people who actually like Tokusatsu as a genre and art form from others who are watching because they think it's edgy Power Rangers.
