Congratulations to Head Coach Dino Nomicos. Coach Nomicos has been named the 7th Athletic Director and Dean of Kinesiology of Skyline College. The board of Trustees approved his appointment last evening effective today 11/11/2021.

Alumni spotlight today in a doubleheader Joey Pledger, Ramon Enriqez, and Kaimana Bartolome hit four homeruns between them with Kaimana hitting 2. As Oklahoma Baptist swept Northwest Oklahoma state.

Noah Marcelo was player of the game against Laney on Tuesday’s 10-4 Trojan win. Noah was 4-5 with a HR, two doubles and a single and 2 runs scored. Tomorrow’s home opener is at 2 o’clock and Saturday’s game is at 12 noon.
Trojans win big at home 16-1 against DeAnza College. Freshman RHP Connor Hourigan gets the win and is now 3-1. The Trojans are now 12-2 and travel to Monterey this weekend. The Trojans extend their win streak to 8.

2 time All American Greg Gonzalez joins Mike Batesole coaching staff at Fresno State. Greg was also an All American at Fresno. Greg played 3 years in the San Diego Padres organization.
Yesterday’s players of the game against Solano were Noah Marcelo and Trey Zahursky. Noah was 3-5 with 3 hits including 2 doubles and 3 runs scored. Trey was 3-4 with a double and 2 runs scored. Both players combined for 6 of the 10 hits the Trojans had.

Trojans pitching coach Marcus Pointer to return as manager of the Duluth Huskies of the Northwoods League for the summer of 2020. The Northwoods league is one of the top collegiate summer leagues in the Country.
The season is currently suspended till April 6 th. The state board and college Presidents are meeting this week to decide if the season will continue. The team has cleared out their locker room so the school can do a mass cleaning and disinfect everything.

The CCCAA has granted waivers to all spring athletes that competed and were on rosters. NAIA university’s will be honoring the waviers. We are waiting on word from the NCAA if they will honor the waivers.
