@FAmmiranteTFJ If they lost out they’re going from like 12 to 10….I think I get them playing hard with the kids and the couple of injured guys that haven’t hung it up for the year. Honestly, they don’t muff that blocked punt against Cincy and I wouldn’t have counted them out for the 7 spot🤷♂️

Fried to the Yanks….Have to love their rotation now. Probably still a bat (and bullpen arm) short but I bet they aren’t done. At this point would still expect Yanks to win more games than their crosstown rivals.

@ATCNY He’s below average but not abysmal….you guys are gonna love him. Sure it’s a bad contract, but I don’t think you’ll ever get a top-end FA on a “good” contract, and he should be elite for the majority of the 14 years I would think.

Juan Soto is a great player just entering his prime, and he will be an awesome Met. Both the Mets and the Yanks have a ton of holes still though, and the Dodgers are still head and shoulders ahead of everyone.

Is MLB learning the wrong lessons from the relative popularity of recent changes? This Golden AB thing is pretty crazy…like the NBA deciding the Rock N Jock 10 point circle should go mainstream.

SU hoops post: everybody wants to talk about free throws, which is fair. These guys were all significantly better free throw shooters last year though, so I don’t think it’s practice, or lack of ability, or whatever people are implying. This team has the worst of things:potential

@BenSidbury @Cuse_MBB Not unfair criticism in total, but that last turnover was on Bell. He stops his cuts so often…if you’re making a pass, how do you know the guy randomly isn’t going to keep running to the open spot?
