@devahaz @Bmutch It's not the first CAL-Fire location but is likely either primary staging and/or incident command post. When the strike teams are called in by the IC, they are told where they need to report for mission readiness briefing and inspection.

@englishhistpod Tbf, I only caught it because I work at an American colonial site where we fly the King's Colors. I've become hyper aware of it and it makes watching historical movies a chore 😅

@EvilWilma @GailSimone Idk I have always thought of it almost as a substitute for "you and yours" or, to be more southern about it, "your mama and them". I.e. when greeting a stranger walking by "How yall doing?"
