Imagine not wanting to support a better online experience for a competitive 1v1 game. If you cannot even play with a friend who lives a block away from the comforts of you and your friend's homes, the online is a failure. A fighting game with no online may as well be unplayable.

Kinda funny how in marvel 3, both players get to move before the round starts so you'd think that would remove zoner advantage, but Morrigan can simply round-start DP, flight-cancel it on hit or whiff, and then start zoning or go offensive in just one marvel second.

No. All it does is make it so that all copies of the game, both legitimate and not, have to "phone home" the first time you launch it to verify you own the game legally.
Also can cause performance issues that include but not limited to: input delay, frame drops, screen tear, etc

Trash, it loses to kaijus.
For real though, this card only loses to non-target banish or non-target send to deck. You basically just pendulum summon Amorphage Envy and this monster, and you lock out every deck except Amorphage decks.

Yes, it was the drip and simplisticity complaints that has hurt MBTL. Not the:
-Not so ideal rollback (better than some but was really rough on launch, at least on pc)
-Small roster with little variety (in general, not gameplay)
-RPS system mechanics still being complained about

I mean, as of the writing of this tweet, they are pretty bland. So far it's been 2 maid girls, 2 school girls with generic (but different) uniforms, a schoolboy with glasses, a church girl, and Kouma.
Old Melty had a few more designs with Riesbeif, powered Ciel, and Chaos.

They need to remove damage from getting hit by guard cancel. It makes no sense that someone trying to make a low hp/pixel comeback is now put at 1 pixel for trying to start their offense.

That's something to put on the survey: suggest S and MS to become C and D respectively while leaving AS as is. BBTAG practically did it by making universal overhead C and Tag D, with Resonance being left as is.

I'd argue Lowain in GBVS was decent as a joke character while not being stuck in bottom tier. Most lists after a while put him around high mids because he was just pretty good at taking games.

There was more than one person streaming the game, and there technically is no proof that giving yourself 999 master balls affected anything other than the lack of music during the legendary cutscene.
But that didn't stop other steamers from having issues either.

People only think XBC2 is lighter than its predecessors because of how late the emotional stuff comes in. All the people I know who didn't enjoy XBC2 didn't even reach Ch.7 but they enjoyed Ch.1 of XBC when the colony got invaded and played to completion.

For me, it was the villains. Jin, Malos and Amalthus were really great villains.
Not naming any names for sake of spoilers, but I just didn't like any of the main villains. They were either trolling the mc's or just watered-down versions of the xc1/2 villains.

Honestly both collections have one bad/mediocre game (4/1), one good/great game (2/6) and one amazing game (3/5).

You can run from someone who pulls a knife, machete, axe, etc. Even if they are trained in how to use the weapon, if they can't get in range it's useless.
Your chances while running away from someone with a firearm is significantly lower since you are constantly in range.

Hot take: execution doesn't bring spice. Advanced decision making does. Majority of the combos in bbtag are executionally very easy, but the real spice comes from setting up situations where your assist is behind the opponent to sandwich them in. Also easy, but needs a bit of lab

See, I don't mind offensive zoners like Phonon in Under Night who can zone you out with fireballs and long range whip normals, but has to get up close to open you up.
Peacock just invalidates any characters that don't have the best movement or invicible full-screen options.

They can sometimes make a game too swing-y. The ones that aren't too bad typically help you at least take your turn (SF4 ultra or t7's super) or do more damage, but don't outright win you the game like X-Factor or Hitman's awakening passive.

Risc guage is also very important in GG as a whole, but they shoved it right under your burst guage. It's also a very weird design decision to change the round counter of "who won the round" to a life counter showing how many rounds you have left to lose.

My biggest issue with wallbreaks is comebacks. If your opponent has a dp and a fireball or an has invincible super, and you are in chip range, you immediately lose the round.
You either drop the combo and let them get away to chip you, or you wallbreak and get chipped midscreen.

Xbc 2 was better than 3. 3 held my attention because the gameplay was more fun, but it also grew stale and the second half of the story went downhill whereas 2 actually went from good to amazing starting from the second half.

What got me into competitive FG's was seeing that I can actually learn how to play USF4. The reason I did was because I had fun watching so much Gootecks and Mike Ross for months on end on Excellent Adventures. I kept going because I made friends who also liked competing.
Alright, change of pace, what got you to be competitive in FGs, what's your origin story? It could be a person, a game or something as simple as I entered a tournament and had a good time.

Went 1-2 in GBVS tonight at Versus. Felt kinda bad about my play overall tonight in general, and not to mention the down direction on my d-pad is now fucked. Definitely think I might do ranked online for practice.

In Final Fantasy Tactics for PS1 and PSP, you could rez with Phoenix Downs by tossing one at them, but the toss had a miss chance. The Life spell let you select a tile to determine a rez, but also had a chance to fail to revive.

Hence why the only solution, which was implemented already in to tekken 7, is to enforce one input option only. The game gives you the option to use Stick or d-pad only. Ofc, it's not feasible in other games but this is one of those "maybe we should include this"
