@brianlilley "Canada First" is something trendy people are saying. Same with the ketchup/mustard nonsense. Everyone will continue to buy other U.S. products as per usual. Frankly I think it shows some level of insecurity people are feeling about the country as a result of the last 10 years.

@VenetiaLakou @TheophanesRex I think that is part of it, but the so-called "Canadian Identity" has been steadily eroded over Trudeau's reign. What does it mean to be Canadian? Is it all about booze and ketchup? It should be about natural resources more. People aren't sure what Canada means anymore.

@deAdder Lol. This doesn't matter. What would matter if people got rid of US streaming, sports, etc. Ketchup and other stuff is just laughable.

@brianlilley Voters are also typically uninformed. Ask how many have actually downloaded a party's election platform and read it. Most people choose based on some stupid reason as opposed to actually knowing what policies they are voting for.

@brianlilley Canadians didn't say a word then and are totally asleep now. Good for Japan, taking advantage of poor leadership here and a population out to lunch.

@sunlorrie If this comes to pass, then the incompetence would lie and the feet of Canadians. Canadians are great people, but woefully uninformed and easily led down the "free" services path. Hmmm...maybe not so great after all.

@FoodProfessor It's a greasy situation. But that seems to be Canada at this point in time. Most Canadians are totally apathetic. Pity really, but apathy is defining Canada at present.

@6ixbuzztv Just like most Canadians have been brain dead for decades when this country could have become energy independent.
