I'm sick of this government taking the population for fools. It was not nurses, ambulance drivers, posties, railway workers or lecturers that caused the cost of living crisis. Inflation is being driven by company profits & bonuses to bosses.

Important to remember today @theRCN offered to suspend yesterday’s strike action if Health Secretary @SteveBarclay agreed to negotiate properly on pay. He refused & instead sent out Ministers to mislead the public on cost of a fair pay rise for nurses

This is an absolute disgrace. The Chancellor running around news shows today shamelessly telling viewers - UNCHALLENGED - giving public sector workers inflation busting pay rises will entrench high inflation. The claim has been completely rubbished by most economists!!

@PippaCrerar The polulation is confident the the Tories will be out at the next election. A spox said that the people had been upfront with the government about a challenging election campaign ahead. They did admit that many Tory MP's will find it very difficult to access the HoC afterwards
