I investigated the missed but obvious pass interference call in the AU vs OU game on Saturday. What did I find out? The responsible ref wasn’t even looking at the play in question. He was looking off to his left, as pointed out here. OU got a gift.

Yep. Hugh Freeze…Charlie Kirk’s friend…was calling timeout before the snap, but the refs let the illegal play continue for an easy TD. Freeze argued to no avail. It appears the refs showed Hugh Freeze. They sure showed him.
This is egregious. Watch Hugh up top clearly calling a timeout well before the ball is snapped. So not only did the officials know this ilegal play was gonna be ran and gave them the thumbs up according the OU OC's own words, they then flatout refuse to acknowledge Freeze's TO

Oklahoma got away with an obvious pass interference on that Auburn trick play. It would’ve been a TD, but the refs didn’t call it. Oklahoma is getting the home cooking from the refs today.

I performed the John Mateer analysis in the preseason. I knew he was overrated. Just because he torched the worst defenses in the nation out on the West coast, that doesn’t mean he’s gonna dominate in the SEC.
@NextRoundLive @TheLanceTaylor 25 of Mateer’s 29 2024 TDs came against PRST(?), SJSU, Hawaii, Utah St, Wyoming, Oregon St, SDSU, & NM…all some of the worst defenses in CFB last season…per Foot Database. LT might want to edit Mateer down about 8 spots. It’s gonna be different in the SEC. Pump the brakes!

Everyone was hyping up John Mateer in the preseason & even after 3 weeks into the 2025 season, but I figured he’d struggle against SEC defenses, like he’s doing today vs AU. I sure got that right.
@TheTunnel_Texas @MichaelWBratton Mateer Stans refuse to even acknowledge facts. We all know he faced a long list of the worst defenses in the nation in 2024, including his own defense on a daily basis. I can’t wait watch him compete in the SEC
