The artstyle of this map was peak. Bright vibrant colors with the lighting give it the cartoony feel while still having that “realism” look epic is going for.

A big problem the community has is thinking every character in LA has some connection to a character in the modern day Pokémon world. Characters can exist in a past setting without being an ancestor to a modern day character.

Pokémon BDSP are proof that Pokémon fans do not think older games are better no matter how much they will deny this. A near 1:1 faithful remake of a supposed fan favorite game and there was still massive hate.

Chapter 1 has been outdone by every chapter so far. The nostalgia fans are just upset they got left behind and suck, but then will go sweat in a game like cod, rainbow 6, apex, etc.

Hidden Power needed to go as was just asking people to hack their mons for good HP type moves. Scald going away is also good. People complain about rng deciding battles but then rely on the 30% burn chance. Surf literally does the job better just w/out the burn chance.
