Season 4 Ralph was insufferable but he had a good arc and his death and return felt earned. By Season 5 he was genuinely funny and competent. Then they introduce Sue, build up their relationship and storyline. just to scrap all of that.

I'm not gonna lie, if the Kraven movie was about making animal-human hybrids that Kraven has to hunt down I could be on board. They could go the Spectacular route of having Jackal be the main villain engineering them, it's not like he's gonna be used in the MCU anyway.

Was Atlantis the Americas? And why I love MCU Namor being Mesoamerican. Many fans were taken aback by the announcement of Tenoch Huerta as Namor for the upcoming Wakanda Forever, where Atlantis would be reimagined as Talocan. Personally, I think that's a great choice.

Eddie as Cobalt Blue ended up being a villain for the final season of the show, but that was very rushed and obviously just for fan service.

Real talk though, I think James Gunn's DCU plans involve forgoing the "everything is based on the New 52" policy that the Arrowverse and DCEU seemed to have, so he's pulling most of his inspiration from Post-Crisis stories.

Auggie is unequivocally framed as an evil piece of shit. There's no nuance, no attempt to justify his actions or sympathize with him, unlike with the Butterflies, the other main antagonists in the show. He's a straight up supervillain.

@stuffnfilms @updatespercy The first book mostly follows the three but there are scenes where Percy calls the Camp and talks with Luke, Gabe is shown talking on TV a couple times, Mrs. Dodds is in the underworld when Percy arrives to rescue Sally etc. It all tracks in a faithful translation of the book.
