when it’s a story based on a real person who was groomed and raped and is still alive who has expressed dislike for a movie that consistently says that it’s inspired after his life and takes direct quotes from his experiences then yes it is unethical hope that clears things up👍🏾
Which doesn’t invalidate Vili’s feelings. But the movie isn’t unethical. It’s only been a recent impulse that any film tangentially inspired by any events must therefore be an opportunity for a collaboration, which ultimately curves the work wholly to the desires of the subject.
