I have spent nearly 40 years carefully wording letters, faxes, telexes and emails to cover the fact that i am a woman in a male dominated industry. I sign off with initial and there is no Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms prefix. I am not about to start opening myself to discrimination now.

we donated our Kids' bikes to the local refugee organisation (small town). They were all given instruction in cycling in the town, and it is lovely to see them all cycling to school with all the other kids in the morning, instead of trailing behind in a small group on foot
