Baltimore is forever in my heart and in my prayers as we move forward, together❤️
Earl Graves Sr., the founder and publisher of Black Enterprise magazine and Morgan Alum, has died at age 85.
Wonderful man.... my prayers to his family and friends💔
Baltimore is my home. It always has been, and it always will be.
I'm running for Mayor because I love this city, and I'm determined to get it back on track.
I know how to make city government work - and with your support, I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and get it done.
Even in campaign mode, I make time for 30-60 mins of daily activity. Exercise boosts your immune system!

🧵With 14,000 vacant homes and 20,000 vacant lots in Baltimore, urban blight is diminishing the quality of life for too many of our residents.
Vacants attract crime to our neighborhoods, hinder investment, and bring in both trash and pests.
Baltimoreans deserve better. (1/6)
The team is so excited to officially announce our 2024 campaign for Mayor of Baltimore! We hope you join us on this journey as we seek to bring the very best for the people of Baltimore!

Baltimore, let's reclaim our city's reputation and restore its beauty. As your next Mayor, I'm committed to revitalizing our community from Day 1. We'll bring back essential city services like recycling and trash pickup, ensuring efficient reliable service.
Let’s set the record straight.
My tenure brought an end to zero-tolerance and introduced community policing to Baltimore.
Our approach brought down homicides to sustained 20 year lows while also reducing arrests.
I’m grateful for those who stood with me in this race and proud of the diverse coalition we built together.
Fighting for Baltimore alongside all of you has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life.
@IvanJBates
needs a partner in the Mayor’s Office, and he knows I’m ready to get to work.
Thank you for your endorsement and for your transformative leadership in the State’s Attorney’s office.

is a reformer whose passion for uplifting the community and commitment to addressing systemic injustices has had a profound impact on our city and our state.
I'm grateful to her for her endorsement, and I look forward to having her as my partner in Annapolis.
This tragedy will affect local jobs, regional economies, and national supply chains.
As the path to recovery comes into focus, it's clear we'll need an approach that is swift, methodical, and highly collaborative to ensure we can minimize the impact on working families.
Squeegee kids (and adults) aren’t on the corner because they want to be. This is a means of survival.
We have to get our kids off of the corner and back into school or into jobs.
Locking up our kids isn’t the answer nor acceptable.

It’s easy to take credit for what’s working and pass blame for what’s not.
But when our chief prosecutor tells us he’s frustrated with the lack of support from City Hall, it tells me law enforcement needs a new partner in the Mayor’s Office.
Thanks to everyone who joined our fitness challenge! Your energy and commitment are inspiring. Whether it's 10 push-ups or 20 jumping jacks, every bit helps keep us strong. Let's keep this momentum going!

Small businesses are not just key drivers of the economy - they’re pillars of the community and the heartbeat of our neighborhoods.
It’s time they had fewer delays, less red tape and more support.
As Mayor I’ll make sure City Hall is their partner, not their stumbling block.
As Mayor, I will prioritize hearing from the citizens of Baltimore. It helps create policies and initiatives with people in mind. The problems we face as a city are very real but we have to remember their are human lives attached to this.

We need a new approach to tackling vacant houses.
Selling them off or tearing them down one at a time isn't enough to revitalize our city.
That's why I'm proposing the creation of a Neighborhood Redevelopment Authority - to turn blighted neighborhoods into livable communities.
Our youth are our future. That's why we have to begin preparing our children in middle school, with skills and trades that will last a lifetime.
Thank you to the Center for Adolescent Health’s Youth Advisory Board for hosting this town hall.

15,000 people depend on the Port for their livelihoods, and we need to move urgently to help get them back to work.
