@SirGrimly The light version of her diving attack makes her do a somersault off the opponent on contact and makes her recover pretty quickly in midair, allowing her to follow up. The trade off is that her light diving attack travels at the steepest angle.

@sawplanik Currently subsequent damage is scaled down quite significantly, so its main use is to set up an ideal situation rather than deal damage. Additionally, it can be punished heavily if predicted or baited out.
