Even if you remove this year, the trend shown in the graph continues, and the moving average only increases by 4 inches to 23.2 from 19.9, 26 inches below average ( includes 14/15)

@TimboBrady @JayB7897 @growingwisdom He did say "after" and included this year to show a trend. This year and last year are very similar, with about the same amount of snowfall at around the same time.
