@Alonso_GD Also, āstarves and torturesā¦ tooā? Thatās the giveaway here. A rich state choosing to starve prisoners is not in the same moral universe as prisoners starving along with their captors who have no food to give them.

@Alonso_GD By this logic, all Israel had to do to ensure return of all the hostages was cut off all food to Gaza, and Hamas would have been legally obligated yo release the hostages. I think there may be a flaw in your legal analysis

@FixedAirHeather @GeneKlain @offbeatorbit Youā¦ still disagree? You think itās āscaryā that people are using ācastedā as the Bible and Shakespeare did? Now thatās scary (and yes, I am mocking you; saying peopleās language use is scary is mocking them, you disingenuous knob)

@FixedAirHeather @GeneKlain @offbeatorbit Iām being āmeanā to obnoxious twits who think it is fun to come on here and look down on people who they think are uneducated by enforcing linguistic rules they donāt actually understand

@FixedAirHeather @GeneKlain @offbeatorbit This is very simple stuffāācastedā sounds awkward to our modern ear because the irregular verb form has become the accepted use. But āblessedā doesnāt, because āblestā became regularized. Itās not a question of grammar or correct usage. Itās fashion, not physics
