Have questions for Kayaba on Serai? Here's a chance to ask!
I don't tweet from the Serai account often, as I'm not really a social media person, but it's been a while. With all the current noise in the space, I thought it'd be worthwhile. Serai has taken a while, but only because good things take time. Happy to answer any Qs.

Update on Kayaba's focus shifting entirely to Serai with what sounds like more information to come.
As I said at Monerotopia, I planned to have my work on the FCMP++ libraries done at the end of the month. With that, I am announcing I am stepping back from work on Monero. I will continue to work on Serai.

The audits of the #Monero ( $XMR ) libraries Serai built are being crowdfunded via the CCS. These are public-good libraries used to interact with and independently verify Monero. They also include a performant threshold multisig for secure deployments.

@Fakk2 @ceo_thor @jpthor I'm talking on it tomorrow at @monerotopia. Various components are ready for audit. The rest of the components I'm hoping to have cleaned for audit by EOY. I am also trying to organize funding for said audits.

Asked why Serai will use % based fees rather than a flat fee structure, Kayaba responded (paraphrasing): If we set a $10 flat fee, and you swap $100, you'd pay 10%. Yet anyone who swaps $10,000 would pay 0.1%. A flat fee would encourage only large swaps while discouraging smaller ones. Large swaps sound great on paper, but would cause far fewer swaps, where it's swap volume benefits users most.
