Putting a bid has very good chances that he will have to buy it and surely its not hard to believe its structured in a way that he gains control. He wants the control as he does not have a moat with XAI

They can become marketplace but what if the best properietery models don't partner with them..what then? Their whole strategy is utilising enterprises locked in with AWS and offer others models. That works as long as they have best of all other models! They had no choice. Don't think xAI will partner with them. Unless they innovate this was their only game. They have monopoly of home assistant device, and they were not able to bank on it and launch AI on these devices.

Its great as it puts chatgpt in same relm as other major innovation, electricity for example. This is a big statement that will get people looking for what this tech is. Advance voice in the end was cool. In 30 sec you can't expect to teach someone how to use this tool. Sure someone can talk to it and so what? Voice did say..how can I help? They will simply think, how is that different from siri or Google or alexa. At least with this add, they are grasping folks attention who understand technology evolution!
