Because optical space isn’t the same, it depends on the vertical space an element takes also. If you check navbars for example, a lot of them have inequal paddings, different from a few pixels, but not the same. Fonts work the same way when it comes to kerning and line alignment

For 1y now i've been taking 2h every friday to watch tutorials and design not-work-related. It sounds like a waste of time but it actually recharges my creative batteries. Even during big projects with hard deadline, I ALWAYS reuse what i learned, unconsciously. Learning is Key.

The Spotify logo is all about "streaming" or "wifi".
In my opinion, Spotify is way more about music and podcast than the mean used to broadcast it.
I came with this logo concept & kept the curve to stay true to the identity ;)

I wanted to take a break so I decided to recreate this calculator in

using only
#CSS
classes (drop shadows, inner shadows, gradients), really fun to make! The best part? The 7 segments characters use a real font, so could be dynamic on a website!!
