Had a guy come in today. 6+ months with a neck mass. Hx of prostate cancer and didnt want to come in because of covid.
Huge metastatic tonsil cancer. I just cant anymore.

I routinely tell patients in their 80s to consider stopping their meds. Absolutely ridiculous to be on statins, bisphosphonates, and oxybutynin ( horrible drug).

Our employees have no idea how close we came to having to let them all go due to covid. We had no operating rooms, no patients walking in the door. Overhead was about to eat us alive. PPP was a lifeboat.

The letter of the law is for an interpreter. Put yourself in physicians shoes, what if pt feels afterward questions not fully answered or things werent explained? Then it is violating ADA. I see many deaf patients and required an interpreter ( which is at my cost)

Kid’s HS is having homecoming dance next week. Initially kids could go if vaccinated or had negative test. Parents apparently complained. Now they must have negative test AND wear masks.
