A note from last night: MSG showed 7

in a mid-level suite watching the game. Kids start making their way over, the players reach down, sign autos and take pics. MSG security came by and shut it down. The players left the suite and came down to the kids. Major kudos.

The atmosphere in MSG was truly special tonight. It wasn't because of the result - although that did add something - but it was because, aside from the handful of Bs fans, the place was filled with diehards. No tourists, no pastel army ... just Ranger fans. Special.

Truly hope Hank leaves the NHL as a Ranger. If it gets to the point where they give up on him, I hope he returns to Sweden to finish his career with Frolunda. Sure, Eddie played with the Red Wings and it didn't hurt his legacy but, personally, I'd like to see Hank leave in blue.
