@sozi81 Excellent paper! I’ve noticed this phenomenon anecdotally over the years correlating with anatomical structures, but great to see it systematically described. I have also seen this in the right atrium adjacent to the phrenic nerve. Has your team looked at the RA as well?

Agree with the fact that RF CAN be efficient, but it’s not reproducibly so. The same case could have been 30min longer with stubborn epicardial connections or a very dilated LA. Don’t get me wrong, RF is still very important and we will need it until we have a better selection of PFA catheters, but my patients certainly recover much more quickly when using only deep IV sedation and rarely have any pericardial discomfort, or slowed gastric motility. I certainly started out a skeptic, but have now embraced the new technology.
