@DPJHodges People are rarely hostile simply because someone "identifies" as the opposite sex. It's the unreasonable demands & the dishonest interpretations of all criticism. "You object to my mere existence!", "You deny my existence!", "You want me dead!". And it's all the other insults too

@APmith It's not the genitals; it's the athletic advantage provided by male development, which accounts for differences in bone density, connective tissue stiffness, mass/fat ratio, cardio & respiratory capacity, & hemoglobin concentration. And these affect athletic performance.

@esjesjesj Right?! I don't know why trans activists have been freaking out over a mere 40 males being excluded from women's sports. Maybe panic is the preferred state for some? It seems like some even incorporate panic as part of their identity

@glennagoldis Do you have a sense of which false claims are likely to matter in this case? From a legally naive pov, I'd love to see the science of gender care litigated & thoroughly exposed for the hogwash it is. But I know it doesn't always work like that
