Some real gems at RIAT today. Busiest Wednesday I can remember! A few disappointments with stars that got turned off early and some poorly-timed clouds, but those Moroccans, jeez.
@iris_frs
That £4 a week isn't covering that though. It's nonsense (and dishonest) to claim it is. Enormous amounts of it is subsidised by England via the Barnett formula.

My mate and I went to Spa. I'll say what I said back then - every single person of the thousands at that circuit knew from before the lights out time that there could be no race. It was clear and obvious. We all knew what that bollocks about 2 laps was for and it was revolting.
A lot of people don't really care for aviation museums, but I find them one of the most stimulating environments for aviation photography. I find the opportunities for genuinely creative photography are vastly more so than at any airshow or base visit.

I've been going through lots of old races on F1TV and the only real difference whatsoever is reliability. Tonnes of races were start to finish leads and predictable outcomes and the only thing that changed orders was cars breaking.

Because it's a requirement of the sport. They both still help outdoors anyway, the virus doesn't magically stop being contagious when you walk out the door.

Americans when they find out things are different outside America and their country isn't the highest authority on anything for the first time:
Awesome to finally do some low-level photography, and with HAF Buckeyes to boot. Not long left for these legends! Proud that this opportunity was made available to myself.

Looking forward to seeing the very young driver Fernando Alonso bring his lovely attitude and team-supporting skills to the F1 world. Can't wait to see what he's about for the first time!

It always amuses me when Americans talk about the Democrats being on the left. America has two political choices, the far-right and the right. It's not a democracy.

Exactly. Trying to pretend that USB-C is a bigger issue than just "Buy USB-C cable to charge your phone" because you're unhappy Apple were made to act in favour of the consumer for once is pretty dishonest. No one in the world cares what version USB cable they're using.
@BBCSport
As an F1 fan, this is disappointing as it now leaves only an internal process to determine how the race director was allowed to break the regulations in the name of spectacle, and I don't have much faith in that.
@brianmoore666
But the idea that it's "respectful" is patently absurd. What does the club do to respect them? Do they engage with Native American communities, donate to Indigenous people's causes and charities, highlight the persecution over centuries?
@btsportrugby
Love all the chiefs boys piling on him, you know they've been slaughtering him last couple of weeks so he's earnt his redemption and half!

The "interesting" question is why does this caller believe they wouldn't have done it if the Queen was there. Surely, if anything, that speaks ill of the Queen?
@Scientists4EU
It's astonishing that human beings have access to all the education they could ever want or need and still end up with brains this empty.

What's more, I've read that women can withstand g forces better than male pilots as well, which would have a big impact in combat.
@jburgess3
Amazing how apparently all of the Welsh players were absolutely fine with it, didn't react and never thought to draw the ref's attention to it?
Or maybe it wasn't a headbutt...
Is the Gypsy Major (and family) the most aesthetic-inducing engine in the aviation world? Almost everything that it goes on seems to look good and I think the engine and its cover plays a role in that.
